License
Input Casper grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on one Mac per active subscription. The licence is valid for the duration of your subscription.
Subscription & payment
The subscription is billed monthly at $1/month via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your Stripe billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period, unless required by applicable law.
Free trial
A 24-hour free trial is available once per device. After the trial, a valid subscription is required to continue using the app.
Right of withdrawal (EU & UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. However, by starting the free trial or subscribing and accessing the app immediately, you expressly request that we begin performance before the withdrawal period expires. You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, or — in the case of a subscription — once the billing period has begun and you have actively used the app. To exercise the right of withdrawal before use has begun, notify us at support@inputcasper.com within 14 days of purchase. We will issue a full refund within 14 days of receiving your request.
Consumer rights (EU & UK)
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have as a consumer under applicable EU or UK law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Digital Content and Digital Services Directive (2019/770/EU). If any term conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law, that law prevails.
Acceptable use
You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, sublicense, or resell the app. The upstream source code (MIT-licensed) is available on GitHub and may be used under those terms independently.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Input Casper is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any transcription errors or data loss. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via the in-app update mechanism at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the new terms, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
Governing law & dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the EU member state in which the operator is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live. For EU consumers: the European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in ADR proceedings but are willing to try to resolve disputes amicably — contact us first at support@inputcasper.com.
